the idea girl says
good news fort erie ontario canada! from my FEFSN meeting on Nov 12 2014.
your participation in buying the lottery tickets (all 5,000 of them) has raised $9,600 for our local Meals on Wheels program,
Thanks for your help, many mouths will appreciate it. 🙂
wouldn’t it be cool for a section of our new community kitchen being built at the salvation army on gilmore rd, to have some proceeds donated by those that loved and adored this meals on wheels volunteer Marilyn Debeau and do it in her honour?
we could put a plaque up in her memory as well as others!
they mentioned doing the tickets at walmart sobeys and how they could only accept cash. People would go buy groceries then get cash back from the tellers. I was thinking…
a Community interact machine that can be used by organizations for their donations using bank cards, or Visa, Mastercards. We should ask Royal Bank, TD Canada Trust for something like this. I see them the most at Niagara Region Community Attractions and Fundraising Events.
