the idea girl says

I wanted to learn more about our community projects, so I can assess where to apply my skills in a helpful manner.

It was a treasure trove of information, meeting people from all walks of life, people involved in several community type of organizations.

I asked questions, wanting to know what each organization does for the community.

Not only did it give me something interesting like community news in Fort Erie to blog about, it was very highly educating in where I can volunteer my time, along with my hubby harold.

We met Anne, and dedicated 2 hours of our time sorting out the many food donations at the Salvation Army on Friday. It was fun!

We met new people and got to hear their personal experience stories of volunteering in the local food banks.

the next meeting will be December 10, 2014 from 11 am to 1 pm.. (bring your own bag lunch if you wish)

I think they suggested a pot luck lunch for Christmas.

Destination to be emailed to those to ask to be contacted!

Contact Rhonda (from Bridges Community Centre) for details!
