the idea girl says

It was with great sadness we said goodbye in st catharines ontario canada at the Darte Funeral Home

Lisa’s and her families little peanut  died on Friday morning April 3, 2015, Harry and I found out while checking my facebook wall messages – we had a good cry while reading about it and again when we went to the viewing we couldn’t keep the tears away as we looked at the poster collages of him with his family through the difficult months, stages of his life.

The doctor’s tried all sorts of different medications on him and hopefully since they document everything, other babies born with Trisomy 13 will live longer than one month (he was the first to live to a year!).

He was a little hero in our eyes because he managed to live a year (plus one month) instead of a month as other babies born with the same condition had.

We are thankful to all of you for your prayers and letting Lisa’s family enjoy Blake Majkut’s first Halloween, his first Christmas and  his first Good Friday – Easter with him.

Now Blake is resting in the arms of Jesus after fighting 13 months – a rare disease – as QUOTE – “a genetic abnormality known as Trisomy 13.”
