sorry my blog’s full cannot upload the two pics yet. will work on it in future!
anyways I spotted this cafe creamery while down that part of town.
the grand opening is this Saturday 20 June 2015.
they are open 7 days a week, 11 am to 9 pm.
and the lady there makes all her OWN recipe ICE CREAM, milkshakes, sundaes.
the also have coffee, expresso etc, panini’s and other snacks.
the ice cream is free of all preservatives and made on site.
5 Niagara College Students will be working there in the kitchen along with the ice cream chef, so it’s going to be great.
Conny & Arend Meiling are the owners (they used to run their shop up North and decided to come down this way, so welcome to Fort Erie!)
it’s close to Walmart 2 minute drive, LCBO, Bank of Nova Scotia, the Sobey’s Shoppers Drug Mart Plaza and less than 5 minutes from the Buffalo New York USA Peace Bridge, the Fort Erie Racetrack, and downtown Jarvis Street (10 minute drive)
right on the cycling trails along Lake Erie and the Niagara Parkways (Central Ave, to Garrison Rd, heading WEST past Walmart – Thompson RD, and it’s on the left in the plaza just past Tim HOrtons
they have 2 benches out front and 2 tables (seats 4 each) and 4 at the ice cream bar,
nice set up, they have some baked goods there too. I got to try a small bite of the creamy tasting ice cream, it was heavenly.
I’m looking forward to going there for TEA time with some friends… 😉
